Well some of you might have known a fella named Shawn Voorhees he owned a black 03 marauder from coconut creek Florida. Yestuday Saturday December 26th at about 1:26pm he lost his life in a horrible bike wreck. He was pronounced dead on scene. He had gotten off i-95 northbound to head west onto Hillsbouro Blvd in Deerfield beach, and he had lost control of his bike on the steep round about and him and his bike had slammed into the metal gaurd rail, and he had died. As paramedics got there they had to use the jaws of life to remove him from the gaurd rail.

I just wanted to let you guys who might have known him know. There are no details on funeral information at this time but for those of you that might have known him i will post the time info and location if youd like to come.

and if you would like to join the "In Memory of Shawn Voorhees Group on Facebook here is the link http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=14360&id=565705578#/group.php?gid=226901124867&ref=ts

Condolences to his family. RIP
Some of us older guys wonder how we lived through our youth, really makes you appreciate it and realize how lucky we were when someone this young is lost doing the same kind of crazy stuff we did when we were that age.

I just got word of what happened earlier this evening and I'm still in shock. Shawn and I gained each other's respect running our Marauders at the track a couple years back, and he was there when I made my best run NA. Ah! the good Ole days, they will never, just as Piglit50 will never, be forgotten.

R.I.P Shawn Voohees

Thanks for not thinking I was an "old grumpy douche"

Are there any more memorial stickers available?
