If you are going to the B-J Scottsdale auction, keep on the lookout for Lot 98, a 1964 Dodge Polara 2 door hardtop. It has your name written on it. Tan with tan interior, 426 V8 Max Wedge installed in 1998 to replace the factory 426 Street Wedge, has the Hurst 4-speed.
There is a portfolio of 1964 Dodge data included with this vehicle. Original owner's manual, lighter, letter opener, sales brochure and a Build Sheet are included with the car. It was sold new in Des Moines, Iowa with a Street Wedge 426, single 4-barrel, 4-speed. With the installation of the 426 Max Wedge, stock exhaust manifolds were installed. Unfortunately the power brake booster had to be removed to allow clearance for the exhaust. The 5 1/2" wheels were widened to 8" to give that NASCAR appearance. The original starter and distributor are included with the vehicle. New factory style exhaust with correct cut-outs.
