Just got this done today..
first of all i would like to thank Marauder aka Al Bundy for showing us how is done.
Any how the following instructions would show step by step the H1 HID fog light conversion.
Dont do it if your not sure. one mistake with that adaptor and u have to by a new one from FORD.
Adaptor is not available at you local shope like auto zone or Advance auto. You could only get the h1 bulb but not the adaptor.

Hmmmm...

So I got to the part where you have to dremel out the interior of the connector a few weeks back then got lazy to continue..but,

What is holding the connector to the HID H1 bulb, and what other work is necessary for the thing to fit into our stock fog assembly?

Thanks a bunch for actually taking the time to do a write up on it too!

I drilled out just enough so the HID would fit tight and just put silicone to seal the gaps. and if you want i could bring it and show it to you on the meeting we are having on 1-10-10 in Schaumburg.
here is the link for the meeting: http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=59014&highlight=chicago

Awesome. So the fog assembly will work just fine without modification then?

You know, weather.com says it should be nice out that day, and I will be off so I'll probably head out and chill for a bit, I'll bring them with. Thanks!
