Does anyone have a pic of these installed? I'm considering a set and I think a pic would help in the decision.

Mine are natural finish but I want to powder coat them to be a dark gray. Anthracite, pewter, gunmetal, something along those lines.

I'll be picking up a set, along with the pedals this month. Did you hand-paint the lettering or have them powdercoated? I wonder if the pieces can take the high temps of a powdercoating oven.

Hand painted. Did the pedal covers also. Powdercoating cures at around 200 degrees.

Tom, why don't you show them what's inside the doors? Like on the door sills?

Seeing your sills makes me want to try painting mine before trying the powder coating.
Good eye Doom, I like those lights also. Definitely would like a little more info myself.

I believe he purchased them from me. I bought several sets of those lights years ago and sold a few on here.
I installed them in my '98 P71.

Actually I purchased the parts locally, but I did the the idea from you. Thanks!
I got the lights at Advance Auto Parts. The base was originally chrome, but some sandpaper and interior paint changed that.

Hmmm..did you fill in the slots too?
Wonder how that would look.
Come to think of it, I don't even know what my stock sill plates look like.
That's kind a sad.

I thought of filling in the slots also, but it looked "too much" for my taste.

In red, I think so too. But in black, maybe not.
I'm going to do some photoshopping. I'll post the results.

What he said. I left the slots alone and just filled in the letters in black.
