On my 95 suburban, the ac clutch froze up.
Don't need the ac now, and I don't want to spend the money.
Is there a way to make it freewheel?

You might be able to take the clutch apart and try and free it up. Most likely you'll need a new clutch. Don't think they are that expensive. Can you take the A/C belt off?

There should be a nut on the end of the clutch. See if that can be removed. Try unplugging the clutch field, too.
