Rumor has it, beer will cloud your judgment. How much beer does it take to fog your brain? As a Sailor, stereotypically I should know the answer (insert ethics comment here... This comment was not intended to offend other Sailors or those that wish they were Sailors or other members of the Department of the Navy.). But as I learned long ago when I made Chief, if you get drunk, fall down and pass out, have the good judgment to land on your left arm to cover your anchor so passers by will think you are an officer. Thats what I thought but I never heard the term. Back in the day (or really, back in my day I guess) you were either a Chief or an E-7 (got my anchors in 1985.) The Navy has sure changed, I wouldnt recognize it now.

Yes. My parents have a few of their albums and I was stuck listening to them all the time before I ever had a drivers license. Never got into The Eagles, but I don't hate them either. I've heard a few of their songs Paul.

Somewhat semi-related...the drummer for another Cleveland band, the Raspberries (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGhF3QAOM0A), lives 10 minutes away from my house. I once played a block party on his street and he let me play on the kit he used in the Raspberries. And the guitarist lives around the corner from me.
