I searched here and I googled - WikiAnswers etc - Surprisingly hard to find. I need to adjust my headlights. With my snow tires on, they are a bit high and I don't like blasting people. I've read up on removing the entire light assembly:

Is it really trial/error - Remove, adjust, replace, rinse lather repeat?

Thanks folks!

good question, mine are pointed way too low, i can ride around with the high beams on and no one will ever flash me to turn them off.

look by where your bulbs are located. at the place where you put them in/out. there will be 2 things that stick out that look like a skinny bolt with threads. 1 is for up and down the other is for side to side. you have to spin them. look in the onwers manual it tell you how to aim properly.

just read it, looks like there is no side to side adjustment just up and down. turn the scred clock wise to bring them down and counter clockwise to bring them up

I've found the best way to aim them is at dusk when it's almost dark. Back up away from your garage door (closed) about 15-20 feet. Start car turn headlights on. Notice where they are on the door. Then adjust them so that they are about 3" higher than when you started.

This is how I did them on my old CV. My MM lenses could be a tad higher too.
I get only a good 40-50' of light on a black dark road. Should be closer to 100' I think.

Wow - Am I embarrased - ITS IN THE MANUAL! Part of the search function should *always* include the manual...

4mm vertical adjuster - Clockwise == down. There is a lame pic showing its location. Off to the garage! Thanks for tearing me away from the Interwebs back to the Good Book

Here are those pages. Not very informative on actual adjustment....

The other bit of text is that horizontal adjustment isn't possible, and is not required.

On my car I just tightened 2 nuts on the adjuster and used a standard open-end wrench.
