Went to visit my MM while in storage. I noticed that the driver's door gaps are off a little bit. As far as I know the car was never in an accident. The top of rear portion of the driver's door sits slightly higher than the front of the rear door.(the two chrome moldings don't line up perfectly). The door pin and hinge are in good condition and there is no play.

Can these be adjusted? This is going to bug the crap out of me. Sorry I don't have any pictures. Just getting my to do list together and this is priority number 1, pushing my 4.10's to number 2.

yup but you need to align the doors. I had to align the hood, trunk and one back door to make it perfect. just dont loosen the bots all the way just a bit then you can just lightly tap it till it's perfect. they get lazy at the factory and it's never 100% perfect.

OK I'll try that, I'll make sure I keep the bolts snug. It's not a huge gap but it is bothering me. That's good to know, thanks for the reply. I guess I would loosen the bolts on the door and not the body, or is it the other way around, maybe a bit of both. I'll make sure I have an extra set of hands when I do this.

Also, it's a good idea to have a floor jack handy to support the end of the door while you tighten the bolts. Just drape a towel over it,a and adjust slowly and carefully.
