This is a popular subject thread on many forums I am on so I figured I'd post it up here.

So basically what did you do? Can be anything from changing a bulb to installing a s/c kit and even breaking wind in it lol.

For me today I am changing the rear diff fluid and possibly getting a brake system flush.

Other than driving it ................ nothing.

Am collecting parts for some serious modding this spring......

Meziere Electric Water Pump w/ 30amp fuse

New DB Electrical 250amp alternator w/ 250 amp circuit breaker

4 gauge alternator & ground upgrade

H1 HID's for the new foglights

Upgrade the 4 extra LED taillights to LED bulbs w/ 13 LEDs

Install LED bulbs & strips in my spare instrument cluster

Finish smoothing out the spare set of rear calipers for powder coating

Rebuild the 31 spline posi to get it ready for installation with Moser 31 spline axels

New rear shocks

New rear slotted rotors to match the Wilwoods up front

3 gauge "A" pillar pod (tranny temp, A/F ratio & boost gauge)

Intake spacer

I think that's all for awhile... :D

I bought a frame for my official certificate and hung it on the wall over my desk.

Yesterday, I glued the little rubber thing that goes above the steering wheel to block the light from the guages back in with super glue. It's been bugging me for 2 years.
Then I drove it fairly hard for about 2 hours, listening to my new exhaust sing.

Didn't need a flush just a good brake bleed job. Front caliber bleed valves were seized up, one was snapped off so I had to order new front calibers blah........ oh well at least it's safe to drive it home and not stuck at the dealership. Had the shop next door to my work order the calibers for me at cost price and will get them to install the new calibers and bleed the system sometime next week.

Make sure you use silicone and not the supplied gasket that comes with the diff cover. The gasket will leak for sure, don't ask me how I know. lol

Waved bye to the MM as I pulled out of the driveway in the Taurus. Took the dealership sticker and tag frame off of the Taurus. Hope to get the windows tinted very soon and change out the muffler.

It is the same type of gasket you would see for our intakes. Reusable with rubberized ridges to make sure nothing fluid like can get past it.

Last night and yesterday I installed the Naake coilovers on the front. I also installed the Wilwood brakes on both sides and hooked the Addco swaybar back up on the front. Today I need to finish the brake line on the driver's side and get started on the 4.10 install. I'm hoping to have the rear end wrapped up today and install the QA1 Naake rear shocks and rear Addco sway bar. My Pioneer AVIC-910BT came back from Pioneer Service yesterday, so it will be installed sometime soon as well.

Waiting on the cam covers, timing cover, headers to come back from the powder coaters. Then I need to buy a rear cooling mod, motor mounts, stainless steel header bolts, O2 sensors, intake and header gaskets, oil cooler gasket, and about a million other small parts......

Took out the original battery. Used Purple Power cleaner, a hose and scrub brush to clean out the battery box then sprayed it with silicone.

Put the new Megatron Interstate battery in and hooked it up.

Pulled the fuel pump fuse. Checked the fluids and then cranked the engine for 10 seconds which is all it took to get oil pressure. Pu the fuel pump fuse back in then started her up.

No unusual noises and as smooth as can be seeing she sat for 5 months out in the open and never being started.

Put the new Pro-guard on I got from Dennis while she was at idle and the new Gorilla Lug nut locks I wanted.

When she was at temp checked the tranny fluid and did a check on the coolant system to make sure it was up to snuff and did a PH test on the brake fluid and it was perfect.

Took her to the parts store to buy new cleaning stuff and she ran good.

Brought her home and parked her. She will sit there until I get the new rear end cover and gear oil in her. No runs on the highway till that job is done.

Today is the new Spoiler for the Taurus. Yesterday was the new Stereo system and figuring out how the damm thing worked LOL!!

Ended up replacing all the brake pads before installing the new Nittos. Looked like some front brake pistons were binding up since inside pads didn't have the same wear as the outside pads. Shot some solvent on them. They seeemed to bite hard after I warmed them up a bit. If they don't all loosen up, then back to Todd for re-do. Nittos seem quieter and firmer than the OEM BFG's.

Must admit I'm a bit jealous. I've gone through a few chop boxes over the years and could never justify the cost of a sliding miter saw and the room it takes in the truck and the chance that the ways get bent vs. a 12 in chop box. The compound saw is great for crown molding though and that is were I really miss it. I do have one on my Santa list but so far he hasn't come through with one yet. Maybe this Christmas

I let Bazzy baby video. We'll see if he can tape anything other than his own dash LOL.

The four of us that showed will even have or own TV spot in a couple weeks:P

There was just over 500 cars in attendance! This place knows how to host a car show!!

BTW, that was second place in the 2000-up street machine/modified class. Still can't believe I got anything! The competition was BIG TIME!

Interior vacuum & wipe down, exterior wash. Got a squeeky belt pulley--need to fix that,& ordered a new serpentine belt. Oh yeah, set all tire pressures including the full size spare. First time I've ever had the spare out and found its for the front.

I said a prayer for my car...it's sitting in the garage while I'm at work. We are having a major windstorm and there are trees near the garage...
