"Original Miles"

WTF is an original mile? If there are original miles then there must be unoriginal miles? Are they letting you know that they aren't miles that were put on from a different car? My Crown Vic has 85k miles and I transferred 20k miles from my Marauder, so only 65k of those are original miles. :confused:

Therefore if you go look at a '66 Mustang, and the odometer reads 23,000, it could be 23,000 or 123,000 miles. When they say original miles, it means that's ALL it's EVER been driven. Or was this a rhetorical question?
