Just another reminder of where to push the button. It's on the home page under site donations left side center. Guy's, this isn't mandatory, but really isn't asking for that much. If you are logged on and reading this, then yes you allready are recieving benefits from the site, and that benefit is the luxury of information, not to mention all the events that MM.net supports, and a place to call home with good friends. Lets see how many new donations we can achieve in just one month! Come on, what do ya say? Post up here after you donate so we can all personally thank you.

I do want to mention that I recieved a PM from a member who i'd like to keep private. He was really upset that he couldn't make a donation because of health reasons and because of that hasn't been able to work for a few years and is recieving no financial aide. He went on to say in that this is the best website that he visits and he apologized deeply about his situation.

Look, when I typed this post I really didn't want to get into specifics, just wanted to keep it simple and ask for your help. But, having been laid off since Sept. now, I know first hand how bad it can be for some, and they are not the ones I was targeting. It is the members that are searching the sale adds buying parts, the members who are building up their cars, or I guess at this age starting to even rebuild them. It's the members who use the wealth of information collected over eight years now to better their Marauders, and the members who at post one want to know a quick fix to avoid the dreaded dealership and save hundreds of dollars.

I think you all get the jist of what i'm laying out here, give a little, get a lot. Or don't, thats your decision, and I would never hold it against you, but just think about it atleast. With that extra cash flow, there could be even more sponsored events, more raffles, or maybe even more features right on here, which for some members, like me, is my other home with my other family.

Bob, your points are very well taken. Nothing should be held againt those who decide they cannot/will not donate. We certainly don't want to lose their input and participation. The idea should be to make Supporting Membership more attractive to more people.

I don't think $25.00 a year is that much money. Thats like 8 gals of gas. $25.00 is like poof and it's gone. But, here it lasts you a Whole Year.
