Just got home from Mohegan Sun casino in CT and when I backed into the driveway she had 99,998 miles... Tomorrow she rolls 100,000! Sad day that I have been dreading!

You're not alone. Mine will roll over 100,000 miles on our trip to Louisville in April. I know how you must feel.

If anything 100,000 miles is cause for a party. You and the car become one. You know every sound you can almost drive with your eyes closed. Best of all the seat now fits perfect. Iam at 100,683 miles 22 oil changes. Presently gathering parts to supercharge it.

I beg to differ. That will be a day of celebration :bounce: Think of all the ones that didn't make that milestone. Break out the champagne and drink a toast to you and your MM's acheivement.

at 100k the fun is just beginning....
now you have no milestone to dread and can drive worry free for the next 99 thousand miles.

The positive thing as others have said is how good these cars are built and 100K is nothing to them. Also a wealth of parts. Now if you had say a 1954 Chevy you would probably be about done.

Yeah but assuming it wasn't a rust bucket you could go but a 502 big block crate engine and have a warranty to go with it:2thumbs:

These cars were meant to be DRIVEN, not sit in a garage! I am PROUD to have 108,000 on mine!

I remember cringing when I hit 50,000 but then realized I'm not selling my car so let the good times roll. Hopefully I can pay mines off before I hit that 100,000 mark so I can celebrate that with a SuperCharger. Sadly, I've seen to many totalled way before that. Congrads On your MM making it without any drama.

I dread it when any of my rigs hit that 100k mark...........in the perception of a marketplace 100k miles sounds like a lot of miles to somebody buying a car as opposed to lets say 89,000 miles. 100k miles usually drop the value of the car considerably. However if your just driving it to drive it................enjoy the hell out of it until it will no longer go.

Well thank you everyone... this car has held up from my driving surprisingly well over the past 50,000 (I have only owned it for half of the 100k) and as for the casino trip... I lost money and some hit the back passenger side corner of my car pretty damn good backing in or pulling out of the spot next to me because all the paint chipped off the bumper on the corner and it is scratched to s***.... Not a good casino trip at all!!!!

Wow, another low mileage Marauder out there. I remeber rolling 100K just past the Rte. 4/I95 split in Rhode Island. 200k was just off exit 4, with Georgann and grandson Peyton. Did a burnout to roll the number, I posted it somewhere.

dang Tom, you arent having the best luck with your MM....

However congrats on making it to 100k. I wish I still ahd mine to do so, but with it blowing up 2 times before 50k, I couldnt hold on to it.

138,xxx on mine, 100k came so fast I didn't even have a chance to take a pic of it. Mine seems to have started running better as the mileage was adding up.

I'd have to agree with what hot-rauder and Bigdogjim said regarding it driving better after 100K. My first one's engine spun a bearing at about 65k and then got totalled with the new engine at about 89k and the one I bought from go mifuni is now at about 135k and mods aside noticably seems to run better than the two sub-100k engines I've experienced.
