i really need someone to do one of these the one thing that i did like about this is how the dude took out the time to do a detailed write-up with full materials and procedures. Ive been looking on here for some time and i haven't found anything like that for the eaton swap. This would be very helpfull for the less mechanically inclined (not mechanically ignorant) people who dont have a performance shop nearby. Would somebody mind doing all of the inquiring minds a service and write up how everything is done...........PLEASE

Zack's first eaton write up was very good, did you see it? You won't have to touch the timing cover!
That write-up is not suited fot the Marauder....at all.
Do a search here, Im the inventor of the Marauder Eaton swap.

i already know that that setup isn't the way to go. i was moreso wondering if anyone had done one so detailed for our eaton swap.

If you need that much info this may not the way for you to go. Good Lord that was a long post. Get a Trilogy!

I believe he is trying to tell you that the Trilogy comes with a book/binder with very detail instructions, pictures and all the parts.
I dont have a step-by step instruction sheet, sorry.
My way is for the go-getters who can envision the end result.
If your mechanical knowledge is limited, the Trilogy is most definitely the kit for you.
There is a 3500 dollar gap between the 2 though...

i know my way around an engine bay. but i also know that there r snags along the way. it would be a lot easier for not just me, but the other like 10 people that have askd about the swap. i am willing to risk convenience for $3500. not to mention, this would be ANOTHER chance to do something that noone else has done.

Many people have done swaps with the full Cobra front dress...

So what your saying is, that those of us who purchased Trilogy kits and did self installs, that we have limited mechanical knowledge?:D
I envisioned the end result, I also envisioned a ton of parts to track down, FWIW, my TS wasn't anywhere near a $3500 difference. Cash is king, everything is negotiable.
I will agree that this is a great way to get someone into a SC'd application, and.... it uses factory parts to do so, THAT is cool.
I certainly think the Eaton is a good starting point, anymore though, superchargers are like computers, they are outdated in 6 months when something newer, faster, better looking comes along. I look at it like this, as long as the Mustang guys are pulling these off their cars, we can buy them cheap and get the power to where it should have been in the first place.
I really believe that if someone could source a shop that was doing the conversions on the Mustangs, cook up a deal with them, that the parts could be sourced for half of what they are going for. And of course we have a couple of board members who have done the swaps that are ready to lend a helping hand, pass on info etc., all of which is why this board has the traffic that it does, because of quality of the membership here.

Interesting reading - but a word of caution for many - I do not believe the conversion is nearly as easy as some have indicated. Few of us are Zack or Dave. Obviously these folks are not only skilled, but have the tools and equipment to help them. Also, besides Dave's 435 HP what are the other Eatons running. Not many people seem to post their dyno results. Just my $0.02. OK =========

The eaton conversion goes on with simple hand tools just like the Trilogy.
Matter of fact, you can use a lot of the Trilogy Manual when doing the Cobra Eaton conversion.
This may cause a stir, but a ported Cobra Eaton will make more power than the Magnuson Ported Eaton. I think it has a lot to do with the volume of the intake and the lack of 90 degree bends on the Cobra intake.
Flame away!

I believe that. Probably restriction from the over-the-blower adapter since it is so small.

besides Zack and i, the only other eaton swap i know of is tj006, i think he has a very conservative tune and is making just over 400hp. of coarse you have Brian and Zacks other car along with the other Zak which are "whipple" swaps but the install is the same.
