:( I found a web link on a baseball forum I go to. If you care to see some of the recent demo pictures of Yankee Stadium. :( So sad. I had the pleasure of taking my dad to Yankee Stadium during the final season September of 2009. He is a Yankee fan and I am a White Sox fan so natural we saw the Yankees vs White Sox. Truely an awesome city and the greatest stadium along with Fenway.

It looks as if they are disassembling it, not demolishing it!

Every part of it is being sold off so they are being very careful with the demolition of it. Shea Stadium was leveled within 3 months.

Yeah, it is difficult to see history go down the tubes.
I was rather disappointed when the Orioles moved out of "Memorial Stadium" on 33rd street in Baltimore. That feeling soon passed after I attended my first game at Camden Yards the week that it opened. I have one of those models of Memorial Stadium for nostalgic purposes since I spent alot of time as a kid there at night games and Saturday double headers.

Wrigley........Eh. Its there but not Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park there.

I was lucky to have bought some bricks from both Yankee and Shea Stadium from MLB.com to add to my collection of baseball stuff.

Isn't it about time for another "Black Sox" scandal? You're just jealous 'cause the Cubbies are more popular and the White Sox are the "Red headed step-children"!

....Plus the 4 train runs right next to it; you could literally watch the game from the platform.

Boy winning sure looks like fun. The only time you will see abunch of men jumping like this is at a gay bar in Wrigleyville because you and I will be long dead before the Cubs look like this.

Ah, you're young...me on the other hand.:shake: When I was growing up I rooted for both the Cubs and White Sox but the Sox broke my heart in '59 when they lost to the Dodgers. I did root for the Sox the year they won it and have the box of Wheaties to proove it. It sets next to the box of Frosted Flakes from when the NY Rangers won the Stanley cup. I still have room for a Cubs box of cereal.:help:

Ah the Rangers. I was happy when they won since one of my favorite players was on that team.............Steve Larmer.
I dont root for the Cubs but I do watch them and what ever other team I can watch because I love baseball.
