.... Thats must be why i can Cruise the way i used to... WTF did it go???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?????
Shouldnt there be cables coming from and to?
It worked when i got the car. i just figured that it broke, not left the vehicle.
So how much does one think that i can get the CC Mod? im going back out to see if there are any cables on hiding from me. this is frustrating to say the least. I got Robbed for my CC... :(

so i feel sheepish right... it was there... it must have fallen off as there were ZERO Nuts holding it in place and wedged its self into the engine Compartment (to the right of the spot where it should be) and it was still connected. so im back to not being able to cruise, even with the CC on the car. :( any advice would be much helpful. :)

so i installed the CC module that jumped off the post that Nuts should have been threaded on and the CC Cable was still attached.
In the Fuse box under the dash are 2 fuses associated with the Speed Control (Location 15 and 22) Both Fuses are intact.
Question: Would my next step be to replace the CC Module?
I just want to make sure that there isnt anything else that i should be looking for in that path that could be disconnected, Jarred or Stolen (as stated before). :)

I assume you've checked to see that the electrical connector is securely attached. And the cable is attached to both the throttle body and the cruise control module.

yup. your assumption is correct. it does not appear to be a loose or disconnected cable from what i see.

Just for grins, you might disconnect the end at the cruise control module and make sure it's properly connected internally. Also you could check at that time to confirm the cable is good.
I believe the cruise control module is the same as a CV, they're plentiful in junkyards so you could get another one to test with.

open the Module? i can do that... :) i have reseated all of the connectors as well.
I do have a question though, when you turn the CC on on the steering wheel is the Cruse Light supposed to come on on the dash? its not or does that function become available after a certain speed?
ill have to call around to see if any Junk Yards have them in town.

I don't recall any light coming on. It just starts operating the throttle.
Just disconnect the cable, you don't have to open the module to do it. There is a little tab at the cable connection, press that and rotate about 1/4 turn. The cable will come loose from the module and you'll see the internal connection where the cable end hooks up to the cruise control module. It's connected similar to a motorcycle throttle cable inside the cruise control module.

The cruise control doesn't do anything until you're over 35 mph or so.
