i was wondering if rims 16x7 from a 2001 crown vic will fit my MM. I want to get wheels for winter with tires, and there is a great deal for them, i just need to know if they will fit my car. Thanks in advance,
Frank

I belive they will. I think several members of the board are using them or something similar.

I don't believe they will fit.
I think you would have to use wheels from a 2003 or newer Crown Vic. Perhaps someone else with more specifics can chime in.

You will need CVPI rims to clear the rotors. I got mine from TireRack along with the tires. I don't think the CVSport rims will clear either, but I don't know this for a fact.

you said the same thing in the "Winter Tire & Wheel Package" thread about a month ago, and when you were asked about exactly what you had, you neglected to reply. What's up w/that?

the 2001s are a different offset. You don't need PI rims to clear the rotors though. My generic 2002 CV 16" rims from tirerack worked just fine.
The suspension changed in 02 and the wheels have a new offset.
