tax return time! :-D

alright fellas, i have roughly $600.00 back from my taxes this year and i want an exhaust on my car. I'd like (correct me if you have a better suggestion) 2.5" pipes and a rear cat delete. And i really like the 99-04 Mustang GT sound, so a set of those as the mufflers if ithey'd fit 2.5".

Think this is possible with the funds i have alloted for it?
and anyone know of any good exhaust shops around the Hamilton County area in Indiana? All the input is greatly appreciated :beer:

I bought my own mufflers and had a shop weld them in and remove the rear cats.
Mufflers were $80 each and install of mufflers and removal of cats $100. If your just looking for a sound do it cheap. If you want performance I second Zack if your not looking to go that far maybe Gears and a Tune

Just buy some used flowmasters and cut the rear cats. Save the rest of your money and buy something good.

That tax return was gone in a day with me just on dress up parts I wanted and made a promiss to buy last year with some vendors.

You guys were correct when you told me after joining that the mod bug would catch up to me sooner or lator! :help: ;)

All I can say is I better get a trohpy this year instead of a plaque! Na that isn't fare I did get a great speach to go with it and my picture with the car in the news paper. Not too bad for the first year of shows and cruise nights.

I think i may do that. I think i'll just get rid of the second set of cats and get a set of mufflers welded in. What'd everybody else decide to do with their tax money? :)

OK I don't feel bad about my return this year even though its less then half of what I received last year.

I think my return will go towards getting my headers coated and a full exhaust installed.
