Had a guy on street corner once who had a sign saying "Out of work need to feed 4 kids". I had a big bag of cheeseburgers from Mc Donalds with me because I was heading to a gaming night at a buddies house. I handed the guy a bag of like 10 burgers and said "Here is some dinner for your kids tonight". This jerk took it and threw it in my face and said "Give me some damn money, I don't want your burgers".

Needless to say the rest of story went almost like yours but without the broken foot. Cops were called and a witness explained the situation. Cops said it was the first time he heard of someone having to defend themselves after being assaulted with a bag of burgers. Told me next time not top give him a damn thing. It was the last time I gave money to a homeless person actually asking for it.

Again good job and take it easy on that foot so you can get back to kicking ass and taking names.

At my old job ever day when I left to go home there was this guy pan handling for money on the curb with a sign sayiny out of work need money. After a week seeing this guy on the same corner I stopped and he came over and I gave him an application for a job and told them that we were hiring and that they would hire anybody. He looked at me confused didn't say anything, but took the application. I never seen him a again at that corner or anywhere else.
