I was looking on the Dynotech web site and they only list a Carbon Fiber MM-CF-3.5 Drive shaft for our cars available.

So is this what people have been buying or one of the Crown Vic one's they list?

For the Vic they list Aluminum 6061 T-6 / Dom Steel / & Carbon Fiber

So I was wondering what the drive shaft is that you guys talk about and buy for your Marauders?

For sale at you know who's the numbers match the Ford Crown Vic FCV 6061-3.5 Aluminum 6061 T-6.

So who in the world sells the one actualy made for our Marauders?

According to the web site:

So only the aluminum one made for the CV is available unless you order one to be made like they list on their web site?

Yep I know about that one from Dennis I just like to do some research before I spend money on stuff.

Since I no longer have MM payments it free's me up to get and do more stuff so looking into things I have wanted to get for years but had to work my way into and decied what might be gone sooner than other things as far as availability both in dress up and performance parts.

I don't like to jump into something unless I know what I am getting and if it is specific for the car or just works on the car.

Leo, read this (http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny/transmission/page17.shtml) article, written by Jerry Wroblewski, for information on why the MMC (or MMX) driveshaft is a good idea if you have 4.10s and regularly drive at higher than the posted speed limits by a significant margin.

The only company that still makes MMC aluminum driveshafts is Mark Williams Enterprises.

Making sure I have one that is safe to use under once in a while hard conditions and protects my investment which is what the Marauder is to me an Investment into something that I enjoy and want to be able to keep until I pass and it goes to someone else who will keep and apreciate it as much as I do.

The same reason why I plan to go to 31 spline output shafts and a better limited slip locker design. For the occassional fooling around and to protect the car.

She is about the closest thing to a trailer queen and has been babied a lot more than I would have liked @ times due to reading and seeing the post by many on problems you have experienced.

So my goal is to make the changes nessasary to be able to do more with her without worrying if I am going to need money just to get her home after playing around and or showing off.

That is about the best way I can put it to you all.

Actualy I am familier with most of that info from my days of building and racing Pro Stock Drag cars with my father. But unlike back then I no longer have the funds to have stuff made to the specifications I desire.

And my reaction time and control of my heart rate is now an issue so I no longer race cars for real like I did back then. The adrenalin rush from doing it make's my pacemaker fight what my body is demanding and controling what my heart can take for excitment.

And since the stroke's my reaction time sucks unless I can totaly concentrate on the moment.

Lets face it the main rules of racing are:

Being aware of your limitations as well as the car your racing in.

Knowing your suroundings and the place you are racing / why we use to go to the tack early in the morning and walk it before anyone else was there.

Checking the car over before and after every race to make sure all is well and having a friend double check your work that you trust to make sure you missed nothing!

If you have 4.10 gears instead of 3.55, that number changes to 108 MPH.

(Drive shaft spins faster at a given speed with 4.10)
