Thank you all here who have served with pride.
Let us all pause a moment to remember those who didn't come back, and remember too, that none of us would be sitting here doing this stuff, without the conflicts that produce Veterans.

A member of CVN has this in his sig, and I think it's appropriate, not only today, but EVERY day:
"If it weren't for the brave, there'd BE no land of the free."

The pictures title is called "Spiritual Flag" my wife Chris sent it to me a couple of months ago. I have been waiting for today to post it. To all those who served, whether in peace time or during a time of war, to keep us FREE I would like to give you all my sincerest thanks. I also served in the U.S. Army for four years my last duty station was C co. 6/502nd Inf. (Berlin Brigade). A member of my family has served since before The Revolutionary War to make this country a better place to live. Where we can all raise our families in peace and freedom. Once again THANK YOU!!

I served in the USMCR (1964-1970). I was one of the lucky ones who wasn't activated to Nam. Let us remember in our prayers the Men and Women who didn't who didn't return home. God bless them .
