Mine is mounted to the panel that the FPDM is mounted to, on the back side between the support panel and the quarter panel. Pull the trunk lining loose on the driver's side.

you mean on the BAP or from the shut off switch? if you mean the shut off switch you'll wanna tap the white one.

If not I'm sure if you use the search there is a thread from years back when FordNut answered this very question for me.

The wire is the Pink/black wire in a harness, thats located in a bigger harness. on the panel that supports the back seat.

Not sure about that, I believe the wire you're referring to is for post-fpdm connection of the bap rather than pre-fpdm.

The Trilogy instructions are for post-fpdm installation.

Dumb question here, but is that considered bad then?

Its only bad if you bypassed the Hobbs swith to run the BAP full time.
If you run the BAP Pre-FPDM, it gives the FPDM 17 volts at all times..... The FPDM will not use those 17 volts if not absolutely necessary, which is good for all components down the line.

Gotcha, nope hobbs switch is still in place. I didn't care for the idea of running it constant, I don't drive very hard at all 80% of the time. Thanks.

i installed the BAP this evening i tapped the white wire coming out the fpdm, and hooked it up to run at all times.

i have the BAP set to 10.
after the headers, this car is running pig rich, in one day it has turned on the frps 3 times.
it cranks up like a flodded carburator car, it feels like it wants to stall when i rev it to 2k rpm.
tomorrow i will take the car for a dyno tune from Reinhart at no cost.
thanks Dennis for understanding and wanting to make it right.
