Watch you tongue there buddy. I was a FCC (Flying Crew Chief) before i came here to Texas. Ive done my fair share of sleeping in planes, in terminals, with foreign ladies. Staying up wrenching all night after flying all day to make the next mornings sortie. Been there done that. I enjoy what i do now. (If Crew Chiefs could fly on this pig, you know damn well i would be on her.)

Don't know about you "airmens" and your little toys but down in AMR1 of the former USS Mahlon S. Tisdale (FFG-27) by the squawk box the name of a plankowner is chiseled into the beams; I doubt the Turkish Navy has found it yet!

When I was in the wing of the USMC, I had a turn up license, while shutting down an EA-6A one day I took it around the horn to 100%, just as I was ready to shut down, it jumped the chocks, and flew about 10 feet, wow did I get my ass chewed, till they found a stuck fuel valve.

Thirdly...thank for your service! My boy is a medic so I have a high degree of gratitude of those in service...regardless of branch :-)

Fan Freakin Tastic!

I love the B-1, was pissed when Carter canceled the high alt/high speed version (The A version had more of a "spine" on the upper fuselage). Happy when Reagen brought it back (B version). Really ahead of it's time, small radar cross section, advanced avionics. One of my favorite planes to see at the air shows.

I watched a C-5 jump chocks and go about 40 feet towards a hanger once.

They were bought for 285 Million, but, you better believe that it takes Billions annually to fly and maintain them

I know bro, Im just giving you a hard time. The B-1 is my favorite Aircraft to support... but we really did have a hard time getting them off the ground. They were down to a 48% launch rate when I was working with them. But to me they are by far the coolest A/C to watch.
