View Full Version : Floor Mats
I ordered a pair of front floor mats for Silverback. His was threadbare.
customautoaccessories.com - $129.00. Black with red piping and Marauder embroidered on the door side in a block font. Looks good in the picture, I'll let you know when they come in, probably in a couple of weeks.

Pat, when you get the mats can post some pics of them? Mine are getting pretty beat up and would like to replace them. Thx, Leo.

Must say, I have never owned a set of originals. Bought my car a year old with generics, and allways kept buying $20.00 sets since.

Still have the originals in my MM since I took ownership.
Have another set of Sunday Go-To meetin' mats that I use for car shows.
;) :D

Same here. My original factory mats have never seen the soles of a shoe.
Brought cheapie mats to the dealership when I picked her up.
With factory mats going for $300.00  $20.00 for cheap mats every 18 - 24 months isn't bad.

I suppose OEMs are hard to get now. I got an extra set from Ray the Dealer a few years back but frankly Im more worried the front and rear bumper covers are going to be really hard to find in the future.

I think I gotta get a set of the OEM mats too. The ones I have are kinda dirty on the passenger side. I'll shampoo them before carlisle and if it doesn't come out I'll see about new ones.

Ditto 3.
I, also use my OE mats every day. They still look great with 67K miles on them. Reason is that the car never left FL except once for a summer trip.
However, back in the days I bought a spare OE set from Ray the Dealer should I ever need them.
I hate the way cheapy mats look in cars. To me driving with cheapy mats to save the originals is like driving with cheapy rims to save the originals too. Not gonna happen.

I use my OEM mats when I drove the car every day, driver's side already had wear on it from the first owner so I wasn't really worried. Since I got my new Taurus I threw in cheap pair of mats I had from another vehicle just to keep stock ones looking brand new and dirt free.

I use my OEM Marauder mats.
If and when I wear a 'bald' spot in the driver's mat, I will install one of those trick aluminum plates that match the door sill plates.
(Plus I bought two sets of spare mats back when they were available and cheap....:D)
Pat, I'm curious to see what your custom mats look like also.
