View Full Version : Do I need to replace the seat?

My drivers seat is getting pretty worn out at 155,000 miles right now. I have replaced the pad in the drivers seat before, but didn't notice much of a difference. The passenger seat feels great like a brand new Marauder. I don't think I need to go as far as replacing the whole thing, but do I need to replace the leather surface and padding to get the "new" feeling again?

You might be able to add padding.

I have a small hole from a jerk at the carwash with a pen in his pocket! Are they even replaceable? How Much?

Anything is replaceable, just a matter of how much $$$$.;)

My seats are really good but has anyone tried to put the passenger side seat on the drivers side and the drivers seat on the passenger side? I would like to put some wear and tear on the passenger seat to even them out.

Anything is replaceable, just a matter of how much $$$$.;)

You better check with a dealer as they were "Made To Order" several years ago and when I ordered a complete driver's side set there were only a few in the system!!:eek:

The "Vendor" for seat skins was also leaving Ford...or so I was told!!:shake:

I've got a very good interiors shop here if needed. I've seen what they can do with repairs, and couldn't believe my eyes. Like it never happened. Maybe two tone interior? Black on black. LOL

How'bout the airbags ...left on right won't work.... unless I'm on perc's that is how I see it .
