Can I download all or part of my iPod to an SD card?
If so, what is the biggest card I can get and what is the best way to load it from my iPod?
Thanks.

There is a gadget called the iWay SD Card reader.
It sends data TO the iPod...but I am not sure if it will allow the opposite.
I'd call Apple support and get a difinitive answer.

I don't think there is a simple solution to your situation, Marty. The best solution I came up with is to buy an SD card reader/writer for your computer and drag/drop (or copy/paste) your songs from iTunes onto the card.
Marty,
If your Avic plays aac files you should be able to go to where your Itunes library stores them and drag them to your SD card. I do not know how you have to set the folders up on your SD card though. Should be the same as on a flash drive or CD. Someone else can chip in.
I have been wanting to put my Itunes library on a USB drive to leave in my truck so it would be nice to know how to set up the folders.
