Hey Guys. The light for the Volts gauge went out in my gauge pod. For awhile I was able to smack the gauge pod and the light would come back on, but now it is out for good. Is there any way to take this gauge apart and replace the bulb? If so, where do I get the bulb? I am sure this has happened to others, so I welcome any advice I can get! Thanks guys.

Grab the whole ass'y and pull straight back, simple bulb in a socket. Even Stevie Wonder could do this.

I just did one of mine and then a week later, the other one went out. Both replaced now. Everyone told me to do the search and they provided links so I was good to go. Did everyone have a blue thingy on top of the bulbs? Also, I had to get a deep socket to get the bolts off from the other side. Too bad they didn't design it easier to replace without having to have my ratchet handy.

When buying these bulbs at Auto Zone (Sylvania) they come in packs of two so I did both of them while I had the pod out!

Replace them with LED bulbs. Thay are more expensive but last longer and generate little to no heat.

Does anyone else have browning burn marks on the top of their gauges behind the pod? Those light seem to throw a lot of heat!!!

That's why I'm going with all LEDs.
