My drivers side seat feels like a spring is loose inside. It's weird, every time I hit a bump, it feels like a "spring pop" in the seat. Any ideas if this issue can be fixed without replacing the seat?

Sorry to hear. Yeah, it's odd fer sure. Have u ever tried to address and fix? Thought about goin to an auto upholstery shop to see what they think. It's drivin' me nuts. This is my 3rd. Marauder and the only one that this has been an issue. My car only has 16k miles so I know it's not a "wear" issue.

Remove the seat from the car. Remove the seat cover. Make an inspection repair & reassemble.

Same problem here...dealer said seat cushion was worn and working its way down into springs. I'm only 155# and my car has 55k miles so I hoped for better wear than this...but the good news is that seat cusions can be ordered and replaced, so that is in my future...

Would snipping off that one spring keep it from popping amd not ruin the seat support? Maybe you can do it without removing it?

My car has 110K and the seat looks great. I even had has some MM people comment on it at a car show.

My dad had a GM and he brought it to an upholstery shop and they re-padded his seat. I am sure an upholstery shop can fix this for you. Wasn't that expensive either.

I put a new cushion and cover on my 01 Grand Marquis. Little tricky, but not bad.
