Howdy All,

I found some great repair instructions for my EATC (Climate control panel in dash) on here. Only problem is, I cant for the life of me figure out how to remove the trim around the EATC without damaging it. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I adore my MM and dont want any nicks or scratches on the interior...

THANKS!
GO PURDUE!

Start at the passenger's side and gradually work your way over. It pops right off. Then there are 4 screws.

...And disconnect (unclip & pull-out) the harnesses connected to the trim panel along the way.

Disconnect the rear defroster switch and the clock, if you have an '03, after you loosen the trim panel.

^^^what they said^^^

The only tool needed is a small (5/16?) nutdriver to remove the 4 screws around the module once the trim has been pulled off.

Is there anyway to get the trim around the EATC off without taking the passenger side trim off?

Huh? It's all one piece.

I didn't even disconnect my defrost switch, just swing the trim-piece over and let it lean against the driver seat.

Oh it looks from the outside like the trim around the eatc is separate... Guess it is one piece.

Remove 4 7mm screws and pull out you will need a 10mm deep socket to remove vacumn lines ....then reverse to install
