I may just take the train there, but i wouldn't mind taking the MM into the city if parking isn't jammed and overpriced.

Not on a Saturday. Usually they rape you for $45 flat rate to park and that's in all lots within walking distance of the show. Take the train and hoof it up 34th street. You'll be better off.

But they always take the train in and out from New Haven CT.
They have been talking about it for a month. They went to the one in N.J. and R.I. as well.

Please, would anyone going to the show try to find if there is any source that get me a picture, or a list, of the cars in the 1968 show introducing the 1969s---I have good reason to believe my 1969 Barracuda was a show car there---any info would be GREATLY appreciated--Thanks, Maury

Drive to Weehawken NJ and take the ferry. Should be a nice day for a quick cruise across the Hudson.
I used to take it all the time going from my office in Weehawken to corporate headquarters near Rockefeller Center.
There's also a Houlihans right along the NJ waterfront 1/4 mile south of the ferry terminal.

Hey Maury, I been going to this show for years now and I never saw any kind of pictures from the past. In fact the Javits center was built in 1986 and didn't start holding car shows til the 90s sometime. Im trying to research if there was ever car shows in NY and where they were held.
If anything, maybe the NY public library might have records of the earlier car shows.

My '65 Merc was driven off the floor at the NY Car Show and delivered directly to my home--will have to see if I have some info still around. My Barracuda is 1st week production of 1969s and was a company car for 5 months--just wondering--Maury

A few of us are going Wed.
We leave Boston at 6:30am, get to the show right at 11am, stay till 3, head out, food, and home by 8 - 9 pm.
We split everything (5 of us going), gas, tolls, parking, tickets, etc. it works out to about $40 each...
