My Marauder has survived 8 years and 109,000 miles with no dings (amazingly). Last weekend, I went to Michigan to visit my brother in law, who was in a car accident (He is recovering, very lucky man). I always wash my car and look it over before a road trip, so I know it was perfect before I left. After staying at a Holiday Inn overnight, I was horrified to come out in the morning and immediately find a dent in the quarter panel, apparently from a suitcase, judging from the height of the dent, the angle and the marks left by it. Definitely not from another door. I truly hate ignorant people who have no regard for other people's property. I am always extremely careful around other people's cars and expect the same from them. Is it too much to ask for? :mad2:

That sucks. :(

That's why the Hampton Inn and Cambria Suites is the "official" hotel of Marauderland. More considerate clientele. ;)

No, you are not asking too much. Some people just see vehicles as a means to get you from one place to another, while we see them as works of science and art!

I feel your pain. That really bites. Wish people would be more careful.

If you can't see it while in the drivers seat I wouldn't be angry.

Sorry to hear that.

I'd rather hear from someone that got a dent from using the car than someone who wants to sell their car for 22K with 3,300 original miles.

Lets say your prized possession guitar was dropped and chipped. How would you feel?
Peoples prized possessions come in all different sizes and shapes. For some its a car.

That sucks. A few months ago someone hit my car and took off.
2 months after getting a new bumper cover, I walk out of yet another sandwich shop just in time to see somebody nick my rear bumper leaving a 8 inch long scratch. He would have been gone too if I hadn't slapped the trunk of his car and stopped him before he pulled out. Fortunately, the scratch was very minor and I was able to polish it out so you can't even see where it was.

People don't pay attention to much now a days unless it belongs to them. :mad2:

And the days of leaving a note has long since gone as well.

I hope it is an easy repair for you @ low cost non the less!

It's more of a long dent/ding (like a glancing blow) than the little dimple kind so I don't know if the dentbuster guys can fix it. What do you guys think?
