I suspect that was the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) by the number of bands on his sleeve. If you look really close, I think he came close to cracking up and then mustered a serious response. General Officers and Admirals are much more diplomatic in handling these sorts of situations. However, I am sure that there will be some chuckles in the hallways of the Pentagon this week. :rofl:

PS Interesting little factiod: more snakes per acre on Guam than anywhere else on earth. I used to work there every once in a while, the place is absolutely alive with brown tree snakes.

What really pisses me off about this is that this jackass is wasting the time of one of America's finest officers. He's posturing and trying to make a show, and he did. He showed what a dumbass he is! And what's worse is that I'm guessing he is making more money than the Admiral! What an idiot.
And then for his office to come out and try to cover up his stupidity somewhat at the expense of the officer, he should be ejected from office.

Another thing is this guys behavior or intelligence is not out of the ordinary in Congress. Happens all the time because there are so many of these type people running the country on top of all the recently acquired Czars. Remember Sheila Jackson Lee from Texas years ago talking about the Mother Ship. Pelosi and Reid would not pass a sanity test.

What an idiot. I lived on Guam three times and it is a beautiful island in the middle of no where and close to everything. I was always told it was 6 miles wide by 36 miles long at it's widest points.
It would not take you long to drive around it. It has some of the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises I have ever seen and the people are great.
It's slogan "Where America's Day begins"
Many people don't know that it is a US territory.

The real funny thing is, he is concerned about 25000 more people adding to the global warming of Guam.
