some of that stuff looks fake, even though I know it is real.... WOW is right....

I'd love to see the Marauder do that, but no way... to F***ING heavy...

I wonder how long and how much training it took to get that all so perfect?

Talk about some major chicken playing at times!

My CTS 4 weighs 5,337 lbs. with me in it, so I don't think weight is the issue. The Marauder is just so damn big, that the body roll and all the physics working against it would make that kind of show impossible for our beloved Marauders.

I think the tires would have to be the same at all four corners to put it on 2 wheels. Cool stuff tho....... :burnout:

Incorrect sir. Weight without me in it is 5,137 lbs. I am 200 lbs. of twisted steel and sex appeal. 5,137 + 200 = 5,337. Sticker on the door confirms the car's weight.

That was really impressive. I have seen many automotive stunt shows, but this looks like it was sponsored by Cadillac. If so, do they have something like that here in the U.S. ? And if not, why not ?

Are you sure you aren't reading the gross vehicle weight?
The gross is the maximum weight, with 5 adults inside and a trunk full of junk. Curb weight (empty) is usually about 1000# less.

I think a CTS weighs in at about 3800-4100. The sticker is describing total weight with all passengers and a full trunk etc.

The Marauder's door sticker says 5240 and we all know it doesn't weigh that, closer to 4100.

I stand corrected. After really looking at the sticker, it is indeed the gross vehicle weight. I thought maybe since it is all wheel drive that it would not be out of the question for the car to weigh in excess of 5,000 lbs. Either way, it is still a tank. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

Incredible stunts*!

All those crazy maneuvers reminds me of the parking lot of Filene's Basement during their annual wedding dress sale!

* I wonder how many back-up cars they keep on hand....just in case...:o

Holy crap...you won't see me doing that anytime soon. Looks like the auto version of the Blue Angels!

Thanks for the chuckle but you are right! All it takes is seeing what others can do to prove to us how much we can improve.

Ummm....Saab has been doing those exact shows for years, actually since the 1980s. You guys need to get out more! They did alot of stuff live that wasn't in the video, with the exception of some of the braking stuff the Caddys did.

And even the CHP could get in on the act with the Mustang a bit....

And what a joke, the Caddy people sped up the film all through the video to make it look better than it really was. Watch first at about 0:50-0:55 with the head-on serpentine and other stuff....then watch the people walking trackside at 30 mph.....:bs:

There are lots more examples, watch for yourself. I'm not impressed. Not saying I could ever do it, but even a team with Saabs did it almost 30 years ago.

BTW, the head-on braking manouvers were also artificially sped up. What a joke.:bs:
