To some this is sad, but just look at the expression on the cat's face :P

We have four cats, and one of them has very long, fluffy white hair. Against my strenuous protests, Dawn insists that the cat gets hot in the summer and always has a similar despicable hair cut done on her. This, in spite of the fact that I remind her that the cats saty inside where it's always air conditioned. Go figure.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be sleeping in the same house as that feline!!!!

I remember taking in a stray cat that had been shaved. We felt sorry for it, especially because it had cuts in several places. It ended up hiding in a crawlspace in our basement, and was extremely wary of all us. The next morning I went into the crawlspace to find it so that I could take it to the pound. I gave up and called for a pick-up after having my arms sliced to ribbons. No, I can't say the shave helped the cat.
