View Full Version : Special thanks to Zack and Justbob... again.

I'm very happy to say that my oil problems are gone. This was thanks to Zack and Bob. Zack showed me what I needed to look out for and what needed to be cleaned and changed. I needed to get rid of my hose that connects from the heads to the intake tubing of the supercharger, plug the intake, put breathers on the heads and clean all of the tubing for the blower.

Cleaning the blower pipes took hours yesterday to do it right. Zack got me going and Bob helped too. The car no longer spots oil. It wasn't leaking from the blower and it wasn't leaking directly from the engine. After a while the problem has been solved.

Still need to repair the blow off valve, change the plugs and get it dyno tuned.

I have decided to upgrade to 60 pound injectors and keep it at a pump gas tune. By the current setup it will be pushing it's limit on the stock block so no race gas tune will be done for now. I would like to get a Cobra shortblock when I can, but right now I am in no rush.

Zack why don't you just adopt Dom then he won't have to call so much he can just yell upstairs/downstairs to ya? :D

Dom you laid into it once after telling everyone over the radio "watch this, notice the smell?" and from five cars back it smelled like straight carb cleaner, don't know how that is possible, is that what you fixed?

This was weeks ago, but his advice solved the problem. He didn't charge me.

Zack and I just couldn't live together. It would totally be The Odd Couple, plus I'm a city boy.

I cleaned all of the tubing with carb cleaner and a hotel towel.

Umm that would be YOU, living at Zack's place and unable to cook for yourself, asking where the meatloaf is.

I don't really know Zack that well, but I'd be willing to bet that he would shank himself in the peehole before he would live at your house relying on your cooking to sustain life.:stupid:
