Picture of First Marauder Concept Convertible.

According to my 89-year-old Grandmother, she thinks this was the first Mercury Marauder concept convertible. Belonged to her cousin who was dating a Mississippi Ford Dealer about 1930.
As she remembers, they took the top off the 1930 Ford and called it a Marauder. Too bad they didn't trademark the name.

Next Post is the same car, 1930 Ford, with the top on.

Some things don't change. Couple of good-looking teenage girls getting their picture taken by a new car. According to legend, the car belonged to the girl on the left. Girl on the right is my grandmother at age 17. Taken in Mississippi about 1930.
