There were a few people wanting the recipe for the cake my wife made.
1 box white cake mix
1/2 cup hot water
3/4 cup Wesson Oil
1 cup strawberries
4 eggs
1 box powdered sugar
1 pkg strawberry jello
1 stick oleo, softened (butter/marg)
Mix well cake mix and oil. add eggs 1 at a time. add jello mix dissolved in hot water. Bake in a 9x13 pan at 350, 30 to 45 min
Cool then add topping
topping- melt oleo while adding powered sugar and remaining strawberries
She said the hardest part is mixing the icing be careful not to burn the oleo.
