Every Sunday morning in Burtonsville, Md. there is an informal cruise-in called the "Holy Donut" Cruise.
(It originally was held in a large shopping center parking lot in front of Dunkin' Donuts.)
I rolled over this morning in my Marauder and ran across a couple of cool Fords and a really cool Marauder.
I love Big 'ole sedans with Big 'ole FE Big Blocks and Toploader 4 speeds!
428 S55 Marauder with 4 speed:

Those are some really great pictures of some really great cars. Thanks for sharing!!
Cool cars Joe! The 64 is my favorite right down to the cast iron headers plus the fact that it is a sedan!:D The Merc is also a rare car.:banana2:
A little side note for you Joe on the T Bolt. She will be gaining some compression and a Genesis block with a 4.125 stroke and a 4.375 bore. Tricked out Blue Thunder heads and a Tunnel wedge from Dove. The new motor will be ready for next spring or this fall if the money gets bettter. Nothing like a 13 to 1 FE at 7,000 RPM!:banana2:

When I was trying to take a picture of the 'TASCA' Custom Ford's interior,
I was mad because the window was up and I could see a bright reflection in the picture.
....turns out it looks pretty cool!
2 nasty Panteras*, the S55 Mercury, a white GTO, and a black SuperPerformance Cobra.
*Both with the inexpensive.... Campagnolo mag wheels.

I thought that you used a Genesis block when you built the current engine?
496 Cubic Inches of very nasty Ford FE big block!!!....:bows:
That is one killer engine you are building!
.....13:1!
That exhaust is going to POP with each cylinder firing!
What fuel are you going to run that beast on?
BTW: What are you planning to do with the engine that you have in the T-Bolt now?

Beautiful vintage Ford muscle!
Don,t know yet Joe. It is a true 427 block but has 3 sleeves in it. It runs great and has had no issues other than to much power for the current ET Streets it has. It needs slicks bad as I can only launch at 2500! I would like to find a Merc or Galaxie with a FE in it and just use it as a driver/sleeper. I do have a kind of a beater 4 door Galaxie right now with a 352. Or if I got a decent offer I might sell it. Nothing will happen till I get the new motor done. I will start a thread later on for the new one when they start the build. I am about 75% thru the money end now. We should drop her into your Cobra to break it in!:D :bows: :bows: :bows:   :banana2:

Thanks for the ID Joe Walsh. Pantera's would have been my second guess. I haven't seen either kind of car in many years. There's a guy who shows up once and a while at our weekly cruise in in a built DeTomaso. If he shows this year I'll take some pics and post up.
Don't take this the wrong way, I'm just trying to educate folks, but the 1966 Mercury is not a Marauder. It is a 1966 Mercury S-55 with a Super Marauder 428 engine. However, there were only around 2,000 of them built and a 4-speed car is extremely rare. Nice ride! The 1966-7 S-55 was the Mercury version of the 7-Litre Galaxie.
