View Full Version : Rear View Mirrors

My car will be going this week to have the rear view mirrors with the turn signals in them installed. A place here will install the heated kind for $300.00. I will post pictures when they are put in.

Very interesting. Are they adding them to the stock mirrors?

They are installed in the original housing unit. They remove the existing mirror and replace it with the new one. I should have them in by wednesday or thursday. They said the hardest part is removing the door panels.

Are they putting the turn signal in the outside edge of the glass?

Or are they mounting it out side the the mirror?

I like to have the clear light that works off the remote door unlock.


It shines down under the mirror.

If they mean just the inside door face itself, it is actually very easy.

I am a novice at such things. Removing the door face was no problem. Getting it back on was a problem until I learned the trick. Now I am an experienced novice!

There is place here called Ameristar. They do all types of work, lights, stereo's, TV's, ground effects, all kinds of stuff. I had them do my window tint and they are a reallly good accessory dealer.

Suggestion: while the front door panels are already off, upgrade your front door speakers. Should only cost you the parts plus 15 minutes work on each side extra.!

They make those mirrors here in Sheboygan, WI. Great product, I've been thinking about getting a set of these, also.

I like 'em, and the multifunction device too. Can't decide over the OEM look, or the enhanced mirror stick on...

I realized last night that I know someone who works there, pretty high up on the pecking order.....

SheboyganGuy, I would have been nice but I will have mine tommorrow. A group buy would be nice for the guys. Maybe once I post the pics and the guys see them maybe then you get more responses. Good luck with it.
