Another Pioneer Avic Question

I got the cable but can not get the Avic to recognize my Droid or my iPod.

Is there something I need to do to enable the auxillary input?

You may need enable it in setup.

Thew goal is to play music through Pandora.

I have tried starting Pandora before and after the hook up is made.

It takes a male double ended mini.

I think I have the right cable because it works great with my factory radio in my Scion {gasp}.

Figured it out -- I had to set Aux2 to Video and select Aux2 as my input.

That makes complete sense since I am not using a video input source :rolleyes:

This is NOT true, only if your running the rear ipod hook up would you need that

I checked the menyu, but setting something for video when it is an audio input makes no sense!!!

I sent you the pics of the rims like a month ago. They were sent from my phone.

Maybe I should have clarified it in my response to that original post (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showpost.php?p=897741&postcount=7) of yours. You set it to a video input because it is capable of video. It doesn't know (or care) whether the cable is a stereo mini-jack or an AV mini-jack.

I rocked out with my Droid out on my way to work this morning and now I can not wait to go home (more so than usual!!!).
