New Arizona immigration law passed!

I think we ought to give the illegals a path to legal citizenship.

Use the one that is in place already. I know several Asian immigrants who seem to do just fine with it. Until then, go home or get a legal work visa.

It looks like Arizona has finally made it illegal to be a criminal.

I got nothing against anybody seeking a better life for their families personally, Im sure most are fine folks, but illegal crossing of the border has got to stop, period. It hurts everybody, especially the poor because illegal workers are not union workers and keep wages artificially low. I would like to point out the fact that Ceasar Chavez was totally against illegal immigration that took away work from legitimate farmworkers, both US citizens and legal alien workers. I remember when I was in the Navy I worked with hundreds of Filipinos who busted their butts while at the same time patiently waited years for a chance at citizenship. I think its time our government and both political parties get serious to resolve this issue. One final point; the "wall" works. Those that are complaining its an eyesore or its not effective are wrong, just ask anyone in the Border Patrol.

They ARE about to solve the illegal immigration problem. The powers in charge in Washington are out preaching against the Arizona law already and are preaching REFORM which means amnesty for anyone that can get across the border. They are worried about the illegals Civil Rights. Lets see how long it takes lawsuits to get filed.:mad2:

Tennessee is working on a English-only workplace and English-only driver's license testing laws. If the federal government won't support America, the states will have to do it.

There has been too much dependence on the Federal Govt. States like Arizona that take a stand get a thumbs up! Hell, run a state like a business and try to attract citizens to move there. More citizens equals more tax revenue!

Arizona should post their Nat'l Guard along the boarder to stop the invasion.

I think it is dangerous to let anyone from China into the U.S. military.

Good idea.

Maybe they could get started trying to create some jobs too. I suggest we start by hiring all these illegals to build a border fence. I hear they work pretty cheap.

If you're illegally in this Country - how does it work that they automatically have civil rights? Constitutional Rights are for citizens of the United States - not people who climb a fence under cover of darkness and trespass. This Country spent $338 BILLION last year babysitting people that have NO BUSINESS being here!

I always thought it crazy for our government to put water fountains out through the desert helping these people out after they illegally crossed the border and other people handing out food to them but hey I don't know anything, I am just a crazy American working and trying to pay my taxes and maybe have enough left over for internet access.:pirate:

They ARE creating jobs. Every one of these new programs they pass comes with a buttload of new government employees to administer them. And they have higher salaries and better benefits than the rest of us "subjects". The funny thing is that none of the liberal press pointed out the shady financial estimates in which the CBO had to ignore administrative costs in their estimates. So none of the savings that any of these socialists have claimed will actually happen because of the hidden costs they lied to us about.

Did anybody see the latest report on ACORN? They're actually telling their followers to call themselves "democratic socialists".
