Recent photos of Yankee Stadium. Almost gone.

I saw these on a baseball forum I goto. The guy who took the pics just took them yesterday. Too bad its almost gone. At least I had the pleasure of seeing a game their with my dad (Yankee fan) and myself (White Sox fan) in Yankee Stadiums last year. It was a great place to watch a ball game.

It's sad:(...I went to a WS game there in '01 with my son, a father's dream, I guess.:) It was the first game that was played in Nov. as it went into extra innings. They had the flag that flew at the World Trade Center flying over the center field bleachers. I've been to many games there but that was the most memorable. Now there are only two "old" ones left...Fenway and Wrigley.

I went there for a Red Sox vs. Yankees game on 9/9/2001... Two days before September 11th.

Interesting to see that Turner got that project. They seems to get a lot of big city jobs. They are in Boston quite a bit.
