The Hubble Telescope has been taking some stunning pictures for 20 years now. Contemplating the universe was mind boggling before it was launched, looking at some of the "greatest hits", I can't even grasp the idea of just how vast space is.

I know that they found rings around Neptune, but did they find rings around Uranus?

Sorry...I had to add in my childish Uranus comment

Color corrected of course so we can see them. Think about this, what is the potential for life in the pic below> It is from our our galaxy.

There are a jagillion stars out there. Each star is, or was, a sun like ours. If they have planets orbiting them like our sun, I'd say the chances are pretty darn good....we are not alone!!

Two of my favourites are:

Looking at the constellation Orion 'The Hunter' look at the 'fuzzy' star on his belt. It's the Orion Nebula.

The other is the new star region in the Doradus Cluster.

Normally I would respond to a loaded question like this with "Bend over, I'll show ya", but I am a star gazer also. When I was much younger I used to LIVE for school field trips downtown to the planetarium. Adler is it? Been so long. Is the aquarium still Shedd aquarium? I remember seeing King Tut at the museum when I was 6. When I was 23, I saw him on his own turf, at the Cairo museum. Strange, some folks will never see King Tut, I've seen him twice in 2 different countries.
