Heated seats?

I see some you guys have heated seats. Were these some kind of option? My owners manual says nothing about them. Mine is an 03 built in November of 02.

Yes, heated seats are on option.
I think they were available later in the 2003 model year production, along with the Traction Control option.
My '04 DTR has Traction Control as a standard feature, and the heated seats is an option.

Traction Control became standard on the '03 B model. The heated seats became an option late in the '03 model year and then a fully option for '04.

cag, mine was built Oct 24/02 and doesn't have them either. They didn't start offering them until 2003, I think. My dealer said they could be retrofitted.

My Marauder was built 1/6/03 and has the optional heated seats. Check with BigDogJim he had after market heated seats installed.

ASC put mine in when they did my sunroof. My buttons are on the console instead of the door. They cost $600.00. They have two temperture settings.

cag: I have a 300A built on 8/13/02 heated seas were installed along with remote start in November '02.

About $400.00 for the seats. My controls are on the side of the seat, hi-off-lo. 3 position rocker switch.

Check with your dealer for the place he uses.

$400 for the retrofit right? They didn't swap seats for that price right?

I can't remember if BDJ went thru his dealer or not...I believe aftermarket. I got a price of $410 aftermarket around here, but never asked the dealer what their fee would be.
