Hi guys,
I noticed today now that it's warm, that when I stop, I get pretty hot air coming in my panel vents. FYI - A/C is off, just blowing in outside air.
Is there supposed to be a rubber seal that seals the cowl to the hood?
I see a lip there, but I don't have a seal, and I figure without one, I'm likely sucking in hot engine air while stopped.
Thanks in advance for the help.
No replys? I have the same issue with warmer air.

Hmmm could this be aother o-ring failure? When you say panel vent do you mean the ones on the Dash?If so I would dare to say your blend doors aren't working properly...of course I have been up since 5:30 am and could be delirious

Yes, there is supposed to be a strip of weatherstrip between the plastic cowl and the bottom side of the hood.

His problem is not the "typical" o-ring issue.

Thanks for the info guys.
I haven't been online in a while...
Didn't get any replies early on, so I did some more research and ordered some weatherstripping online, which solved the problem.
At stops, the air system was just sucking in hot engine air.
Thanks.
