Hello guys haven't posted on here in a while. Wipers stopped moving completely washer fluid doesn't work as well. i looked through some post and they didn't make the lights flash or anything like that they just stopped moving altogether. could it be a bad wiper motor? Or something else? i checked all the fuses. i also read in the searches about having something to with the LCM? Anyone feel free to chime in..

Sounds like the wiper motor finally shorted out on you... Have you ever cleaned out the drain hole or bored it out a bid to help with draining and reduce clogging of said hole?
Listen to hear if the motor is working... Make sure the motor either is or is not running... The arm could have popped off the motor...

Check the pigtail plug going to the motor as well to see if there is any charring of the plugs causing an electrical short... Although you probably would have blown a fuse if that happened... .hmmmm

There is an obvious electrical short then. I'd say go to your dealer and get the TSP parts. Ask for a windshield wiper motor and pigtails and replace them. Not a super easy install but if you are mechanically savvy, you should be able to do it yourself. I hope other people chime in on this. People have the part number and everything.
I have posted threads about this issue... Search for "wacky wipers" and you should get a ton of threads point you in the right direction!

Thanks very much i'll search that upon completion of this message. im decent mechanically. if i can get the cowl off i'll use the other threads as a directions manual of sort. i hope its just the wiper motor cause i dont have an ESP and i hear the LCm is not a cheap fix. but yeah thanks again.

I am thinking wiper motor and while you are there at least check the pigtail connector and if you have the finances, replace that as well. Could is pretty simple to get off, just take your time and note where screws are because there are about 6 or 8 holding it on there. Then the wiper motor is in the middle of the engine compartment in back of the engine... Pretty tight back there.

Had the same issue with mine, related to the "wacky wiperz" syndrome. Didn't get the preventive maintenance done soon enough and fried the wiper motor. Actually, no big deal to fix. Motor will cost you $100 or so with core to trade in.
Follow the instructions in this link to remove and replace:

LCM is a different issue, not related to the wiper motor.

Did a search for one of my old threads and came up with this information...
you'll probably have to replace the wiper motor and the wiring pigtail per the TSB "Uncommanded Wiper Operation" that has been out for at least 4-5 years. Don't forget to enlarge the drain hole while you have it open.
Wiper motor and pigtail/wiring was replaced under TSB 05-04-09. Parts listed:
6W7Z-17508-AC Motor A 137493
3W7Z-17A477-AA Wiring 812722

PM me for a good deal on the LCM fix. Much cheaper than buying a new LCM or one from a salvage yard.

My shop is right in Elkridge about 15-20 mins from you and my g/f lives in Gambrills. I wouldn't mind helping you with it or at least take everything apart and see what's going on first.
