Can you tell which page of which thread? I narrowed down the last one and sent the admins the link and they hard deleted the entire thread.

Download "Microsoft Security Essentials" It's free, and seems to be a good blocker for viruses and whatever else. works for me :)...

I shot my mouth off about "CV NOT being the same as MM" and I wasn't very nice...Sorry, i'm quite touchy about that subject. Anyways two or three CV jumped in with their comments and mystiously left behind a nasty trojan. It didn't effect my PC at first, but soon after. It attacked others as well. Mary hard deleted it womanually. I wish I could meet that little ****stick in real life. I punch him in the mouth $1,256 times...

They can't just leave a virus on here. The only way, if even possible, would be through an image upload that they uploaded and you downloaded to view.

Even then, I doubt it. What program are you running?

I suggest, AVG free version. THEN, go download Malewarebytes and run that on full. If still in doubt, you can use Search and Destroy to get pick up anything else.

As far as this site being infected, I have not seen any evidence. I run a lot of equipment here, multiple computers and all enforced with a good virus/spyware combo protection plus a strong software firewall and hardware firewall. Even when accessing this site using my 08 servers, which are heavily protected I don't get anything.

I mean, I am just a Cisco training student sooooooo :beer:

Now that is just protecting your computer. As far as vbulletin goes, there are very few ways to sneak a virus through it, unless it was an attack to the whole site and they are somehow injecting code through the database, etc. But if that was the case we would of seen this site acting really weird.

If anything, its attachments... or junk from another website saying its from MM.net or CV.net because that site is clean as well.

Now, back to studying...
