Anyone with an old front upper control arm? I want to try and piece together an adjustable arm from Specialty products. I'm tired of the tire wear.

Of the stock upper control arm? I don't have one out of the car but they are all over ebay.

I was hoping I could get a used one from a member to send to them for measurments.

Just have 1/2" welded into yours and be done.

Are you positive the bolt is not turning after you leave the alignment shop? Have you marked it with a sharpie to verify?

If you are the only one to have these problems out of 11,052 cars, sumtin is the culprit, and you prolly havent found it yet.

Good luck

I don't need to mark it. The hole is up against the frame. I enlarged the slots and now I can spin the adjuster 360degrees. I would really like to make an adjustable one so I can tweak in the caster too. Look at this site.http://www.specprod.com/ They should easily be able to piece something together that is fully adjustable.

Give me a few weeks I will be replacing mine when I do the front brakes. I might have them available at the SSM picnic but can't make any promises. I have the Mevotech OEM replacements in the garage and can bring them for you to measure if you can't wait.

I can wait. I was going to send an old one to specialty so they can do it right. It would be worth the money to get more miles out of my tires. I'm may even arrange a group buy.

BTW Zack, I'm not alone with this tire wear issue. It is mostly self induced when I dropped the car more than almost 1.5"

I'll definitely let you know once I get it done. Brakes will be getting done sometime next month for sure.

I wrote to Specialty:

Comments and Suggestions=Please help me find a solution for my 04 Marauder.
I need an adjustable upper arm or ball joint that will let me get back into
factory specs. I could arange a group buy as this is a common problem for
our car.
Thanks,
Ron

and recieved this

We are currently working on a fix for that platform but are still in the
early stages of development and I have no timeline as of yet. Please check
the website on occasion to see the new products. Thanks for your input.
