With my extended warranty ending soon, I finally started modifying my Marauder. I have the JLT CAI and I'll be getting a tune next week. What a night and day difference so far!
With a $1000 budget, what do you guys suggest I do?
I'm open to any brake, suspension or engine mods. Thanks!

4.10 gears and underdrive pulleys will complement the CAI and the tune, and should keep you within your budget.
The gears will make a big difference in low end responsiveness.

+1, for that budget I'm pretty sure the 4.10 gears would be the no-brainer.

Metco control arms & Addco sway bars
4.10's then put the leftover $ in a savings acount named "Supercharger Fund"

Pullys, EMP pump, and a mid pipe swap for performance. SS brake lines, hawk pads, addco's for suspension. $1000.00 well spent.

Gears and under drive pulley's is a great start.

headers or torque converter will run you about that much if you install them yourself.
the biggest difference you will feel on a N/A car.

Thanks everyone for your input. I will be contacting a few vendors to order parts.
I have a question regarding the pulley:
What are the advantages of the pulleys over stock? Would I need a new belt?

How long does it take to install them? Are any special tools required?

dosent take long, all you need is a pulley puller for the crank pulley, and 8mm socket for the water pump pulley and a 17 or19mm socket for the crank bolt.

Just make sure you keep your old pulley, as you'll need to switch back to the OEM when the S/C bug finally bites. ;)

IIRC MrBlueGruv has a set for sale. They are brand new with the correct install bolt

^ thanks for the plug. :)
Indeed, I still have a new set for sale. They've been up for a while though, so I'm debating if I ought to just keep them and toss them on when I get some exhaust work done in the coming month or two.
