I was arguing with 2 people in Louisville about the first car I ever drove, a 1967 Thunderbird with suicide doors, they said I was crazy, no such car, etc. etc. Well I thought of that conversation this morning for no reason whatsoever, but here you go. My step-dads was white and I sat on his lap and drove it up and down the street in front of our house in Lombard when I was about 6 years old, followed by his 1967 Corvette, also white. Eat it.

Ex-bride had one, a 71 I think. Dark green, 429 and the pointy grille. Looked like a gangster car to me and got about -2 mpg.

Never knew there where suicide doors on T-Birds, I guess it had the same frame as a Continental. Nice looking car but I prefer the bullet nose from 61 with the hide away hard top convertible.

I think you should buy that car bring it to Louisville next year, then slam the suicide door on their single brain celled cranium, but thats just me, probably because I am at work today. ;)

My aunt had a late '60's T-Bird. Huge wraparound back seat and the steering wheel that moved out of your way when you opened the door.
