Well at least he is fixing it up the one thing that ticks me off as a car person is when you see a classic then ask the owner whats up and he says oh I am going to fix that car up someday well someday never seems to come for them so the car sits and gets worse. Look if ya got a car that you are not going to fix sell it to someone who will!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!

I can't believe it sat for 28 years! All because he was tired of putting air in the tires!

There is so much money in these cars nowadays I bet more than a few of these "barn finds" are staged. Regardless, this one seems pretty cool (and genuine).

I just read about this one yesterday:

Now THAT was a good find Vortex! WOW! My brother-inlaw has a true 68 RS/SS ragtop with A/C, big block with automatic car in his garage. he bought it from his neighbor (original owner) who put it in the garage back in '76!!!!!! Problem is the garage had a HUGE hole in the roof and coons also lived in it. When we went to pick it up nothing at all would spin, but we got it up on a flatbed and towed it to his double deep two car garge (10 years ago) and now you couldn't find it if you tried! It's all the way in the back corner with stuff all around, under, and on top of it......The car would need a complete restoration and the funds are just not there for it.

What a coincidence. I am a member on nastyz28.com (user name 1977 TPI Camaro), I have two second gen firebirds. I would never have expected to see that board referenced on here!
